My name is Benjamin Martin. I am 19 years old and love cooking. I work as a chef in a little country pub, in the smallest county in England; Rutland. Not much to do, so what better way to spend my spare time in the kitchen discovering new, exciting recipes. I love all types of cooking, fine dining, home cooking, I even treat myself to a chicken tikka naan sometimes, but we can keep that between us.
I first started catering when I was at the tender age of 16. Started off pot washing and built my career up from there. First making sandwiches, then prepping the veg, now I have been a sous chef, commis chef and even a head chef for a while!
I started this food blog to share all the recipes, kitchen tricks, favourite spices, herbs and ingredients with anyone and everyone. I am always learning new things and want to help others learn new things too!
